Hi everyone!
I can not believe August has come to an end and carried us straight into the arms of September.
September has always felt like a wholesome month to me. The way the leaves gather the last golden rays of sun and turn them into vibrant colors, as if holding onto light just a little longer. It feels like a month that balances between two worlds. Holding both the last lingering traces of summer and the first small glimpses of Autumn. Maybe that is why this month feels so magical to me (though it could also be because it happens to be my birthday month! Hooray me! On to 39, I go!)
I know I have been quieter than usual over the summer. I wanted to be truly present with my loved ones and cherish the new memories we made together. And we definitely made plenty of them on our travels. With my heart, mind and soul full and recharged, I am glad to return to writing!
If you are still looking for some writing inspiration, just like me, I have you covered! Here you will find 20 poetry and 6 creative writing prompts. Consider them a small invitation to help you step into this season’s unfolding. Feel free to bend, twist, and transform these prompts as you weave them into a poem or a story. I hope they will spark your creativity and bloom new, fresh ideas.
Here is to the magical month of September! One of endings and new beginnings.
